Fall is here and continues to produce some great fishing, we have received some great reports on coastal fishing. Check out what's going down on the coast from Guides, Captain Jake Haddock and Captain Barrett Garrison. Enjoy the report and get on the water! -BCA
The schooling redfish patterns are starting to take shape! That’ll be our main focus in the upcoming weeks. Primarily looking for seagulls, turns, and white egrets to help locate the schools. Once located, we will be throwing redfish crack in #2 and #4s. Alternating from bead chain and lead eyes depending on the speed and depth the fish are traveling. Lead eyes, particularly in size xs and s help get the fly into the strike zone quick on fast moving schools, giving you a better opportunity to hook up on the first shot.
Fishing has been red hot as we get into our fall patterns. While there are lots of fish in their summer spots, the marshes are starting to flush shrimp, and the reds are schooling more and more. It’s looking like it should be a phenomenal fall.
