As much as we love redfish on the Texas Coast, the Hill Country offers excellent Fall fishing for bass and other warmwater species. The Hill Country is a true Texas gem, head over and check out the great fishery. Ryan Schaper from Go Outside Expedition Co shared this report with us for you to enjoy. Go Fish! - BCA
The leaves are changing, making for a beautiful backdrop, and the weather just can’t seem to be any better. We recently had a lot of rain come through the Hill Country from the remnants of tropical storm Pamela, which gave us some much-needed water replenishment. A few rivers got very high and blown out but are all returning to normal. October and November are the best months to target big river bass that are fattening up for the Winter. Top waters have been working great, and as the cool fronts continue to come through, streamers casted tight to the banks will be the ticket. We are also taking bookings and gearing up for trout season on the Guadalupe, starting around the beginning of December. Hands down, This is my favorite time of year to be on the water!
